Chemical Peels

The De Pieri Clinic offers a variety of physician-grade Chemical Peels to suit your specific skin type and concern.

  • What are chemical peels?

A chemical peel is a procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers. Chemical peels loosen dead cells from the skin's surface, encouraging deep exfoliation and ridding the skin of impurities. The result is diminished lines and wrinkles; smoother, firmer skin; and smaller pores and also great for active acne and acne scarring.

  • What type of peels do we offer?

We offer a variety of chemical peels depending on your skin care needs and goals. Certain blends are targeted for certain concerns and each blend has a different amount of down time. Peels often use blends or singular concentrations of salicylic acid, lactic acid, resorcinol, glycolic acid or citric acid to help accelerate the turn over of your skin cells. Our highly trained skin care technicians will help guide you through the process and help select which peel will be best for you.

  • What is the down time?

Down time is dependant on which peel is selected. You can have a "micro peel" which has minimal down time leaving you with a slight flushing of the skin. Where if you select a higher concentration you can shed the entire top layer of your skin resulting in 3-5 days of active peeling. The more aggressive a peel is, the more dramatic results you will have.
