Skin Resurfacing Treatments
We have 2 different options for complete skin resurfacing treatments. One is done by a strong chemical peel, while the other is done by laser. Below we have further information on both treatments to help narrow down what would be the best option for you.
Resurfacing peels are a wonderful alternative to laser resurfacing as there tends to be slightly less down time. These peels target fine lines, pore size, skin texture and can help reduce pigment. This deeper leave-on AHA/BHA peel will leave your skin smoother and present a younger, fresher appearance. The leave-on product removes all of the top layers of skin which in turn stimulates new skin to be brought to the surface. It does require a few days to a week of downtime, but the results are worth it!
CO2 Fractional Resurfacing
Considered the "Cadillac" treatment, CO2 Fractional Laser Resurfacing is also known as the "Non-surgical facelift". It is one of the more aggressive options available without surgery.
Apart from dramatically tightening loose skin and smoothing deep wrinkles, it also has the capacity completely resurface the skin to remove acne scars, dark aging spots and uneven pigmentation. All of the top layers of skin are targeted with a carbon dioxide, ultra-pulse beam that eliminates damaged or aging skin cells. Blood vessels and nerve endings in the new layer of skin tighten as they heal, producing a beautiful texture and bright complexion. CO2 laser resurfacing costs more than other laser treatments and requires more downtime (1-2 weeks), but its benefits are evidenced for several years.
